After working for Lloyds Bank for 39 years Nigel discovered traditional retirement wasn’t for him. He decided to combine his natural communication skills and a lifetime love of tennis to take his LTA coaching ‘badges’ and share that enthusiasm for the game with others and has become an integral member of the team here at Hackney Tennis.

 

Nigel has played since the age of 12 (wooden rackets back then!), been a member of clubs as far apart as Newcastle and Southend on Sea, serving on committees, running and playing for teams in local and county league competitions.

 

He is an LTA Level 3 qualified coach. Predominantly coaches around Clissold Park.
