Hackney Tennis Licensed Coaches
LTA-licensed coaches are committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and must meet the relevant requirements to renew their LTA licence annually. They are DBS-checked, first-aid qualified and fully insured.
Level 3 Club Coach Award
Qualified to coach players from beginner to club level. Typical coaching rates are £40–£50 per hour.
Level 4 Senior Coach Award
Qualified to coach players of all ages, stages and abilities. Typical coaching rates are £50–£60 per hour.
Level 4 Senior Performance Coach Award
Qualified to coach players from beginner to international level. Typical coaching rates are £50–£60 per hour.
The cost of a coaching session can be shared between two or three players, making individual coaching more affordable.
Coaching rates exclude court-hire charges.
HT Assistant Coaches (LTA Level 1/ Level 2)
In addition to our core coaching team we have assistant LTA level 1 and 2 coaches who support our programme.
Level 1 coaches are only allowed to assist with group coaching sessions working under a lead coach.
Level 2 coach group sessions but do not conduct individual lessons at Hackney Tennis. They have a DBS and are First Aid qualified.
