Maurine is a semi-retired lawyer. Her last full time position was Head of Legal at CEOP, a child protection and police organisation, now part of the National Crime Agency. She has 30+ years as a court service and in-house lawyer.

Maurine brings good communication and people skills with the ability to summarise and simplify complex issues offering a fair and balanced view. She brings senior management and governance experience along with recruitment experience. Maurine has a keen interest in sport and in particular tennis which she has played intermittently for 20+ years, particularly with her daughter. She has a keen desire to see tennis available to all regardless of means and to support sports availability to the borough’s children on a voluntary basis.

National Lockdown

Due to the national lockdown announced on 4th January, all the Hackney Tennis courts, and tennis pavilion, will be closed from 5th January until further notice.

All court bookings are now cancelled and will be refunded in due course.

All coaching classes are postponed, and these will restart once the restrictions are lifted. We will keep you up to date with any developments and look forward to seeing you back on court soon.
