All camps should be booked and paid for in advance
A space on any given course is reserved only for the child for whom the original booking is for. It is not possible to substitute individual sessions with another player.
If more than one session at any camp, has to be cancelled due to inclement weather, please email [email protected] to request a refund for each subsequent session cancelled
‘All Day’ camps will go ahead, either in the tennis pavilion or outdoors, regardless of weather
We will do all we can to avoid cancelling half day sessions, but if this is deemed necessary for the safety of the players, the session will be cancelled and children will not be able to attend or may need to be collected early
The coaching team will endeavour to advise if a session can not take place 30 minutes prior to the start time. Please monitor the @hackneytennis twitter feed, which is also on the home page of the website, for updates if weather is poor
If a player withdraws 7 days before commencement of any course a credit will be issued
Sessions will be led by Hackney Tennis licensed coaches and assistant coaches
All coaches are DBS checked
Appropriate rackets and balls will be provided for each session
Hackney Tennis reserves the right to cancel any sessions that are undersubscribed
If a coach believes a child is not suitable for a session, the coach reserves the right to inform the parent/carer of this and recommend an alternative if available. If a suitable alternative is not available a full refund will be made.
A late collection fee will apply. If a parent or carer is more than 10 minutes late to collect their child at the end of a session, a fee of £10 will be charged for each subsequent 10 minutes they are late, up until the time the child is collected.
